Summer is such an exciting time for all, as we enjoy the beautiful weather, special outings and extra activities that can't be enjoyed at other times of the year. At Maranatha Schoolhouse, we recognize that for some families, having quality care for their children is required year-round, and therefore Summer Day Camp is a great option. Knowing their children are doing something fun, stimulating and inspiring each day brings great peace of mind to working parents.
Below are the weekly faith-based themes that Maranatha Summer Day Camp offers, with a brief description of each. Each theme runs for two weeks, enabling families to pick and choose the themes that most interest their child, and best suit their other summer plans.

Summer Camp runs 9am-3pm (after-hours available)

Geared to the ages of 5 to 12 years old.

Cost of $145/week includes all supplies, activities and two snacks per day.

Summer Camp Themes
UNSTOPPABLE (GAMES CAMP)
August 1-3 and August 15-17
The heart of every champion is to be UNSTOPPABLE. It defines how they become the best that they can be. Likewise, God’s love for us and His pursuit of us is UNSTOPPABLE. When we relentlessly pursue God with a determined heart, God will use us to the edge of our abilities and beyond. The campers will learn how exciting it is to live like a champion for the Lord.
It’s time to be UNSTOPPABLE!
OUT OF THIS WORLD (SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS)
July 4-6 and July 11-13
Conducting experiments, and testing the scientific laws created by God, make this camp week intriguing, thought-provoking and foundational to exploring what more they can discover in their personal time about their world. While there is plenty of hands-on experiments during this camp, there are also plenty of other activities and games to enjoy, as well as biblically based teaching on the scientific laws.
UNLEASH THE POWER (CRAFT CAMP)
July 25-27 and August 8-10
This camp theme emphasizes where true power comes from. We might try to be confident in our own abilities, but often fall flat. We need God for anything and everything that we do. Sometimes we face challenges and feel weak, and that’s okay! The message here is that God is always present and wants to help us when we encounter difficulties. His power gives us strength. We lean on God and know that we can do great things through Him. His grace is all we need!
AUDIENCE OF ONE (DRAMA CAMP)
July 18-20 and August 22-24
Drama Camp is an excellent time for even the shyest of children to feel safe while expressing themselves. The children will be learning acting techniques, principles and practices as taught by a professional actor, director and producer of live stage theatre, Lee Moffatt. While much time will be spent on the acting, there will also be much learning about being humble and other-centered in the acting profession.
